I Sometimes I find these glazes a bit much

which have been bent or hammered into the desired pattern

with just one very tiny nick in the  the wood on the highest-relief tip of the anchor on the right side

but much of this has faded from the top surface of the wood

The cast iron shoe form piece measures just shy of 3 inches long, so seems small even for a baby shoe, so perhaps it was used by a doll maker, though why the tread on the bottom I'm not sure either; perhaps it was all about making tracks? In any event. with this wonderfully aged old wood "leg", I think it's a pretty cool object, and a nice and heavy one, which perhaps
